I know what you’re saying.
“Housewife in Hollywood what’s wrong with you? Hula Hoops are circles and circles don’t have sides!”
I say, “Let’s try to think out of the hoop just a bit.”
Plastic Hula Hoops have been around since the late 50′s and in that time people have found many ways to express different sides of the hula hoop.
A twitter friend of mine specializes in fitness. She turned me on to the fit side of the hula hoop telling me that hula hooping is one of the best fitness toys you can buy. I decided to look up this favorite pastime and found out that hooping has many sides. Watch all 5 and tell me which one is your favorite.

I used to be pretty good with a hula hoop. I’d have to put myself in the class of #1 Vintage.
It’s really a good way to exercise and have fun at the same time.
If I tried again, I might dislocate something since my body is now in the Vintage Class itself!

Well, I see they changed the Big Rock Candy Mountain song a little since I had it on my record player when a kid with the whiskey, etc. in it. I like #1 and #5.
I like the hula hoop on my Wii Fit because the hoop is on the TV and not on me so its easier.

I’m changing my vote to the fifth side. She’s the most entertaining side of a hula hoop for me!
