Alice in Wonderland is my all time favorite fairy tale story. I always love that statement you say " I'm following the white rabbit. It sounds so adventurous just as Alice's has no idea where she will end up! This reminds me of my adolescent years running off and popping stuff into my mouth (hey it was the 80's, Sorry!) Now I see that my favorite story is going to the big screen I am kinda bummed and I'm all grown up now and a mommy.. ;). Sometimes I get how hollywood likes to take stories and make big box offices movies out of them, but for the most part there are several movies like this that left me scratching my head afterwards. Like Hulk, I loved that show in the 70's but hate the move and hate the commercials that came out of that. Land of Lost, Dukes of Hazards there more! Where the Wild Things Are, loved the book since my youth, but viewed the movie in it's own modern story, kinda liked it. That move made me think too much because I wanted to walk out feeling like I always did when I was done reading the story. Anyways I hope this move makes me walk away feeling like the adventures of Alice chasing the white rabbit and the crazy people she meets along her way. We will see...., thanks for the post and nice pictures and yes I am going to see it!.......Spramani

You've just tossed another log onto the fire of anticipation I have for the new Alice film! And that link to the Grace Slick site is fantastic. I really enjoyed hearing her voice describe her artwork. I always thought she sounded so great even though I regret some of the musical choices she made in the late 80s when "Starship" went so far OUT of the Rabbit Hole with that mega-corporate rock sound (and I presume she might feel similarly, in her heart of hearts - even though the paycheck was pretty good!)

@Angie I know it's to be a sequel to the original stories. Which I think is very cool because a remake wouldn't go over well with me. Thanks for your comment I just might add a bit about it into my post.

Ok, forgot my e-mail...I thought it was based on the Looking Glass Wars, but haven't been able to confirm that theory. Still can't wait to see it.

I saw the previews for "Alice" in 3D when I went to see Avatar. It looks really good especially with the good 3D they have now.
