When I think of Thanksgiving Day movie scenes, I think of Miracle on 34th Street, the original from 1947. It starts off at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and moves right along into the holiday shopping season. An original story, with an all star cast including young Natalie Wood, Maureen O’Hara, Edmund Gwenn, and John Payne.

There’s just something about this picture that I can’t really explain. Why it’s hilarious, delightful, romantic! Oh it’s even charming, tender, exciting! Yes, and groovy! Let’s take a peek at this classic trailer starring a few famous celebs from the 1940’s.

Don’t forget to watch the historic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade  while your peeling potatoes!

Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving! Thank you.

That reminds me to finally watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Usually their parades are good. I always forget it.

finally taking another chance to check out the site.
I love this movie! The original only of course. The remake was (well, if you can’t say something nice….)I didn’t like it. I look forward to seeing it every year. Also, It’s a Wonderful Life is one of my faves to watch every year.
