I'm a french fan of Rex Mundi which happens to be just out right now in our book stores. I discovered it by coincidence and bought them on amazon in english. It's really a very great comic, Arvid has done a very fine job to create such a coherent new History line , with so many details you have to read it twice to appreciate which is not a common thing for comics (apart Alan Moore). Moreover Mr Nelson is a very pleasant person who answers to comments on his blog. I hope he will have great succes in France which is not an easy task (for so many sad reasons). I read this interview for you not to learn anything about the author as, and this one is no exception, I find most authors boring to say the least...you have to ask yourself, "Self, how can there be such great art done by such mundane people?" I’m a huge fan of the t.v. Episodes of Alias, Da Vinci code and Ann Rice which are all based on historical secret societies. It was nice to read about a writer I had never heard of before. My son and I recently started collecting old comics. This is great because these comics are up alley so I can actually read some secret stuff along with my son reading about good and evil. Also I peeked at the first copy linked to your site and I must say Dr. Saliniere is definitely worth getting to know! :) I think you better hang up those scrapbooks, because you have a great talent here with this site. It's similar to DaVinci Code, only good. Great mystery, noir atmosphere, and a compelling cast. The movie is hopefully coming along. From what I heard the Writers Strike stalled it a little.
