It's what's wrong with music. My hubbie thinks it is becoming too polished. And I think it's just sad that people with real talent can't make it because they just pull some hottie in and mess with his/her voice. It's kind of sick. As for Speidi...I'm working really, really, really hard to avoid it so my brain doesn't explode, too. ;) Tell your kiddo I like that singer she found.
