I didn&#039;t realize your father was also in Vietnam - would make sense since we are both children of 1970.  My dad actually took a lot of photographs over there when he was there in &#039;67 and &#039;68; we used to look at slides of his time there when I was a kid.  My dad lost part of his hearing there, and definitely has some issues surrounding toxicity - he was in artillery, and was one of the guys cooking the Agent Orange.  One of the few times my dad has gotten really emotional was when he was watching &quot;Platoon&quot;.  I think that movie was more true to life than many of the other Vietnam movies out there.  Thanks for sharing the story of your dad!</description>
