I considered doing The 5 on Friday this week but I know there are oodles of posts in cyberspace about the top moms of television. I know there are many videos circulating about Mother’s Day and lots of what to get for your mom ads on every home page.

I found this video of Florence Henderson, a mom most retro kids grew up with on the boob tube. Where would we be without momisms from Mrs. Brady?

This video states that millions of mothers are suffering from underappreciation. But the Center for the Prevention of Lackus Appreciatis is here to help.

This Mother’s Day weekend, show a mother, any mother, some appreciation. Here’s a shout out to the mom’s in the world. Kudos to all of you!

You don’t need to be in the Top 5 on any webpage, you don’t need to be a character of a famous sitcom, you don’t need to be married or single, black, white or latina! If you’re a mom we salute you this weekend. We’ll also make you some coffee and pick up those dirty socks off the bathroom floor.
